Calculator inputs stay in your browser
Every calculation on this site runs locally in your browser. The prices, costs and margins you type are not sent to our servers and are not stored anywhere — unless you explicitly submit the email form, in which case the results shown at that moment are attached to your request so we can send you the breakdown you asked for.
What we collect, and when
- Email address (optional): only if you submit the "get your breakdown" form. We use it to send the breakdown you requested and occasional related tips.
- Your results at submission time: the break-even figures displayed when you submitted, so the email we send is about your numbers.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics measures page views and which calculators are used. If you decline — or never answer — no analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP, user agent) for security and reliability.
Cookies
No cookies are set without your consent. If you accept
the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies
(_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visits — used for
aggregate statistics only. There is no ad tech, no fingerprinting, and
no cross-site tracking either way. You can withdraw consent at any time
via "Cookie settings" in the footer, and declining
never limits what the calculators do.
Where your email lives
Submitted emails are processed by Amazon Web Services (AWS Lambda and Amazon SES) and stored in an SES contact list we control. If you consented to analytics, Google LLC processes the aggregate usage data described above. We do not operate our own database of your data, we do not sell or rent your email, and we do not share it with anyone except the processors named here, acting on our instructions.
Unsubscribing
Every non-transactional email we send includes an unsubscribe link, honored automatically. You can also reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or write to us — either way you will stop hearing from us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (which is at most: your email address and the calculator figures you submitted with it). Email hello@sellerscalc.com and we will act on it promptly. If you are in the UK/EU, these rights are backed by the UK/EU GDPR; if elsewhere, we honor the same requests anyway.
Children
This site is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes to how emails are used will be announced to the list before they take effect.
